Have you ever dreamt of flying over the mountains and standing on a remote glacier? Or perhaps watching the sunset on New Zealand's highest peak or visiting the world famous Milford Sound?      We've all seen the movie 'The Bucket List', now that wish list has a catchy new name. Here are a few suggestions we recommend for your own personal Bucket List. Grand Circle Ski Plane or Helicopter Flight Approximately 55 minutes duration - including glacier snow landing. You will be amazed at the unbelievable scenery of the Westland and Aoraki/Mount Cook National Parks as it unfolds right before your very eyes.  Features include; Aoraki/Mount Cook, Mt Tasman,the Fox, Franz Josef and Tasman Glaciers. To truly appreciate the magnificent scale of these stunning peaks and mighty glaciers you've really got to stand amongst them, our glacier snow landing will allow you to experience this for yourself.  Make sure you have a lot of space on the memory card in your camera, you couldn't possibly remember all this on your own.  Cost: $530.00 pp, includes one glacier snow landing.  Minimum numbers apply. Watch the sunset on Aoraki/Mount Cook If flying's not an option how about a walk out to the Kea Point Lookout to toast the sunset on New Zealand's highest peak Aoraki/Mount Cook.  The Kea Point lookout is only a 20 minute walk from the White Horse Hill campground carpark or a 40 minute walk from The Hermitage Hotel.  Might pay to carry a headlamp for the walk back, it's very easy to sit there watching the changing light on Aoraki until the light fades completely. Pack a warm jacket and your favourite bottle of bubbles! The Kea Point walking track is in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park.
Fiordland's Finest, including Milford Sound Fiordland is spectacular and this 135-minute trip will show you the best of it, from the highest peak, Mt Tutoko, to the coastal fiords, from glaciers to waterfalls. You will be able to stand on the mountain tops, touch the ancient blue ice of a glacier and chase the waves on an isolated West Coast beach. You will also visit the world-famous Milford Sound, and see the sights of the Milford area, including the second highest waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere, the Sutherland Falls, and the Mackinnon Pass.
